Residential Boiler Room Installation Using Buderus Equipment

Equipment

• Two Buderus Logamax gas condensing boilers in cascade connection — automatic load distribution: at low consumption, only one boiler operates; at peak load, the second boiler is activated.

• ACV indirect heating boiler — floor-mounted, provides domestic hot water using heat from the boilers.

• Pump-mixing groups (6 circuits) — each equipped with an electronically controlled circulation pump, thermomanometer, and shut-off valves. Circuits serve radiator heating zones, underfloor heating, and DHW boiler.

• Underfloor heating manifold — separate distribution comb at the lower part, with individual controllers for each circuit.

• Membrane expansion tank (blue) — compensates for thermal expansion of the heat carrier.

• Hydraulic separator (hydraulic manifold) — balances pressure between the boiler circuit and heating circuits.

• Safety group — includes pressure relief valve, air vent, and manometer.

• Electrical automation panel — controls pumps, boiler cascade, and provides overheat and freeze protection.

• Coaxial flues — exhaust combustion gases from each boiler.

• Boiler room walls — clad with corrugated aluminum sheets; fire-resistant finish and convenient for maintenance.

Completed Works

1. Room preparation — walls clad with corrugated aluminum, connection of gas, electricity, water supply, and sewage.

2. Buderus boiler installation — mounting two condensing boilers on the wall, connecting cascade control.

3. ACV boiler installation — floor-mounted indirect heating boiler installation, connected to boilers via a dedicated pump group.

4. Pump group assembly — installation of 6 pump-mixing groups on a single mounting frame, connection to the common stainless steel collector.

5. Underfloor heating manifold installation — installation of the distribution comb with individual circuit controllers.

6. Expansion tank and safety group installation — system protection against excessive pressure.

7. Hydraulic piping — connection of all elements with copper and steel pipes using press fittings.

8. Flue installation — coaxial flues routed through the wall.

9. Automation connection — electrical panel, cascade control of boilers, temperature sensors.

10. Pressure testing and commissioning — checking system tightness, initial start-up, circuit balancing, and cascade adjustment.
